Languages for Life Series

Languages for Life

Languages for Life is a co-curricular series from the Excel Languages Center, led by peer tutors in partnership with faculty and community collaborators. Open to all, whether enrolled in a language course or simply curious to learn, the series connects language learning to real-world experiences through interactive and engaging programming. Through workshops, mixers, film nights, cultural celebrations, and travel-focused sessions, Languages for Life provides welcoming, low-pressure opportunities to practice language skills, experience culture, and build confidence beyond the classroom.

These experiences show how language shapes values, identity, and creative expression while building curiosity and appreciation for diverse cultures.
