Welcome to the UCCS Excel Languages Center (LC)! Located in Dwire Hall, room 270. We are a hub for language learning, connection, and community.

Language and culture focused events and workshops through our Languages for Life series
A collaborative space to connect around language and culture
The LC is open to all, including students, faculty, staff, and community members. You do not need to be enrolled in a language course to participate.
Whether you're just getting started or continuing your language journey, the LC is a place to build skills, connect with others, and be part of a language learning community. Explore our website to learn more and get involved!
Hours of Operation
Fall 2026
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
These hours reflect when the center is open. Students are welcome to drop in to study, meet with a group, use computers, or enjoy coffee and snacks. We also host language- and culture-focused events throughout the semester, including some outside of regular hours.

Resources for students
The Excel Languages Center (LC) continuously seeks language tutors to support world language students at UCCS in the following languages: ASL, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
